The Champlain Valley is a region filled with history, culture and natural beauty. In addition to our planned convention activities, the region also offers a variety of other activities and area attractions.

Enjoy Church Street's pedestrian marketplace, take a stroll along the trails of historic Shelburne Farms, or enjoy a factory tour at one of Vermont’s famous companies that create chocolate, teddy bears, coffee, ice cream, snowboards and more. Recreational opportunities include hiking, skiing, fishing, biking, golfing, water sports, wildlife watching, rock climbing - you name it! Average temps in August are mid 80's with limited rainfall.

While the setting displays the beauty of Vermont’s Green Mountains, Lake Champlain and rural regions, it also offers all the conveniences of a major metropolitan setting including a variety of shopping, grocery stores, dining and entertainment options within walking or quick driving distance off the site.

The site offers easy accessability from both Burlington International Airport as well as an eight hour or less drive time from most metropolitan areas (NYC); 3 hours from Boston; 2 hours from Montreal.

Public Transportation by bus is readily available. Essex Junction is accessible by Exit 12 of Interstate 89. In nearby Williston, you will find big box store such as Circuit City, Best Buy, Staples, Wal Mart, Home Dept, and in nearby Colchester, Costco and the like. There are also many chain restaurants including Friendly’s, Chili’s, The Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse, etc.  There are two driving ranges. Both Fed Ex and UPS have shipping centers in the region so items can be shipped ahead and bused to the campsite.
